Goat Squad is a New Westminster men’s group that meets weekly to engage in work focused on personal growth, accountability, and brotherhood. We meet every Wednesday evening at təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre, welcoming men from New Westminster, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Surrey, White Rock, and even Aldergrove.
Our men range in age from 21 to 65 and come from all walks of life. Fathers, married and divorced men, entrepreneurs, financial professionals, tradesmen, and men in transition all sit in the same circle. What connects us is a shared desire to improve our lives and to do that work alongside a committed group of men who show up consistently.
Each men’s circle begins with meditation, helping us slow down, arrive fully, and leave the outside world behind. We practice honest sharing, deep listening, and respectful challenge. While this is not a therapy group, there are real therapeutic benefits to being heard by men who listen with care, reflect truth, and offer accountability.
Goat Squad is a place to speak openly, be supported, and be challenged to grow. Men leave our meetings feeling lighter, clearer, and less alone. If you’re looking for a men’s group or men’s circle in New Westminster where brotherhood is built through consistency and intention, this is that place.

If you’ve been searching for a men’s group in New Westminster, Goat Squad is a place to arrive fully each week, leave the noise outside, reconnect with what’s real, and be witnessed by men who listen with care. Our circle begins with meditation, then moves into honest sharing, deep listening, and respectful challenge. It’s practical, grounded work that helps you build consistency in your life so you walk out feeling clearer, lighter, and less alone.

Our circles are simple, consistent, and demanding in the right ways. Men practice telling the truth without performing, listening without fixing, and receiving challenges without defensiveness. Over time, that consistency builds real trust—and the kind of leadership that shows up in your relationships, your decisions, and the way you carry yourself.
Our community is guided by The Code of the Conscious Warrior designed by our founder Phil T. Mistlberger. It is a 14-point code of conduct that reflects the values of our brotherhood and provides a solid foundation to live by.

“This brotherhood has changed my life in many ways. I’ve learned a lot about self-awareness, compassion, accountability, and trust.”

“It’s so much deeper and impactful than I ever expected. I didn’t realize how much I needed the influence and connection of other conscious men.”

“I have been able to stay off of porn, engage in relationships with more energy, and create structure with consistency in my career goals. I’m connected and accountable to the growth I want in my life.”

“I can bring any issue or obstacle to these men and they will hold space, listen, get curious and challenge me to grow.”

“I’ve lost weight, started running, and begun to develop my own business. I’ve overcome a lack of purpose and turned a contentious relationship with my father into a nourishing and rewarding relationship.”

“Since joining the Brotherhood I have grown in every way possible. I have started two successful businesses and I am actually allowing myself to follow what my heart and soul want to do.”

“I’ve become a better leader, feel more confident and powerful, redefined my identity in true masculinity (rather than performative masculinity), healed my relationships with other men, and learned to identify and train leaders around me.”

“I’ve never been so vulnerable with any group of men in my life. I no longer play small, and I’ve found the strength to express my truth.”
