I’m happy to introduce Grizzly Squad, the Powell River men’s group from the ARKA Brotherhood. We meet weekly, to create a container where men can feel safe to drop their masks and bring their true selves, be heard, held accountable and challenged to show up in their lives as the best version of themselves. We create meaningful change in our lives with honestly, strength and taking responsibility for how we show up in our relationships, careers and community. We are creating a community of men who live with integrity and responsibility. ARKA is for men who are ready to put in the work to get the most out of their lives. Its not always easy, but we don’t have to do it alone. We are calling all fathers, husbands, son’s, brothers and men who are searching for their purpose and path.
I have been a part of the ARKA Brotherhood since 2021 at first in and online Ronin group only leaving to start the squad here in Powell river. I have stuck with the brotherhood as I have seen so many men take control of their life, moving from a mentality of victim hood to adopting a sense of leadership over their lives. None more impactful than the change I saw in my own life. I am excited to be a part of bringing an ARKA squad to Powell River.

If you’ve been looking for a men’s group in Powell River, this is a place to reconnect with what matters, speak honestly, and build the structure to follow through. Whether you join in person, online, or through events, you’ll find a brotherhood built on respect, accountability, and consistent action, so your growth becomes real in your relationships, your work, and your leadership.
Built for men in Powell River and nearby communities who want a steady circle close to home.
At the Powell River men’s group, our weekly, action-focused circles help men integrate mature masculinity through honest reflection, respectful challenge, and accountability. This is a place to drop the mask, speak what’s real, and be met by brothers who witness without judgment—and call you forward when you’re avoiding what matters. Over time, that work leads to clearer leadership, stronger relationships, and a more grounded way of showing up in your life and community
Our community is guided by The Code of the Conscious Warrior designed by our founder Phil T. Mistlberger. It is a 14-point code of conduct that reflects the values of our brotherhood and provides a solid foundation to live by.

“This brotherhood has changed my life in many ways. I’ve learned a lot about self-awareness, compassion, accountability, and trust.”
“It’s so much deeper and impactful than I ever expected. I didn’t realize how much I needed the influence and connection of other conscious men.”
“I have been able to stay off of porn, engage in relationships with more energy, and create structure with consistency in my career goals. I’m connected and accountable to the growth I want in my life.”
“I can bring any issue or obstacle to these men and they will hold space, listen, get curious and challenge me to grow.”
“I’ve lost weight, started running, and begun to develop my own business. I’ve overcome a lack of purpose and turned a contentious relationship with my father into a nourishing and rewarding relationship.”
“Since joining the Brotherhood I have grown in every way possible. I have started two successful businesses and I am actually allowing myself to follow what my heart and soul want to do.”
“I’ve become a better leader, feel more confident and powerful, redefined my identity in true masculinity (rather than performative masculinity), healed my relationships with other men, and learned to identify and train leaders around me.”
“I’ve never been so vulnerable with any group of men in my life. I no longer play small, and I’ve found the strength to express my truth.”
