“This brotherhood has changed my life in many ways. I’ve learned a lot about self-awareness, compassion, accountability, and trust.”
Join a flourishing Burnaby men’s group and build real momentum through brotherhood, accountability, and shared growth.
Cities and counting
This is a weekly circle for men who want to show up with more integrity, purpose, and support—alongside brothers committed to the work.
City: Burnaby | Captain(s): Nicholas Li & Jason Evans (Badger Squad) | Kevan Munn (Red Dragon Squad)
Badger Squad and Red Dragon Squad are two ARKA men’s groups serving Burnaby, BC. Together they offer weekly in-person circles for men who want depth, discipline, and brotherhood—without the performance. Whichever side of Burnaby you live on, there’s a circle for you within driving distance.
Our circles are confidential spaces where we practice honest sharing, deep listening, and respectful challenge. This is where men drop the mask, name what’s actually going on, and get witnessed by brothers who will hold them to their word. Our men come from all walks of life—fathers, husbands, tradesmen, professionals, entrepreneurs, men in transition—and what connects us is a shared commitment to doing the work alongside men who keep showing up.
This is not a therapy group, but the work is real. Over time, men leave the circle steadier in their relationships, clearer in their direction, and more grounded in how they lead at home, at work, and in their communities.

Badger Squad — North Burnaby
Captains: Nicholas Li & Jason Evans
Catchment:North Burnaby (Brentwood, Capitol Hill, Burnaby Heights, Burnaby Mountain/SFU), Hastings-Sunrise, Renfrew, and men crossing in from North Vancouver.
Badger Squad meets weekly in North Burnaby for men who want a steady circle, brothers who challenge with respect, and a place to do the inner work that actually shows up in your day-to-day life. We meet face-to-face, hold each other accountable, and use the group as a testing ground for the changes we’re committed to in the rest of our lives.
About the captains: Nick Li came to ARKA looking for the kind of brotherhood that holds you to your word—men who would call him forward when he was avoiding what mattered, and stay consistent enough that he could trust the work. He’s an entrepreneur and marketing professional who knows how easy it is to outwork the parts of life that need attention, and how a strong circle is what keeps that honest.
Jason Evans co-leads Badger Squad and brings a depth of lived experience into the circle. He’s the founder of the Shadow and Lights Project, an initiative that elevates men’s stories and the issues that don’t always get a voice—the kind of work that takes real conviction to keep doing. Jason is also a longtime entrepreneur in arts and crafts, and that maker’s instinct shows up in how he holds space: patient, attentive, and willing to sit with what’s unfinished. He believes men move forward by telling the truth, in the right company, often enough that it becomes who they are.

“This brotherhood has changed my life in many ways. I’ve learned a lot about self-awareness, compassion, accountability, and trust.”
“It’s so much deeper and impactful than I ever expected. I didn’t realize how much I needed the influence and connection of other conscious men.”
“I have been able to stay off of porn, engage in relationships with more energy, and create structure with consistency in my career goals. I’m connected and accountable to the growth I want in my life.”
“I can bring any issue or obstacle to these men and they will hold space, listen, get curious and challenge me to grow.”
“I’ve lost weight, started running, and begun to develop my own business. I’ve overcome a lack of purpose and turned a contentious relationship with my father into a nourishing and rewarding relationship.”
“Since joining the Brotherhood I have grown in every way possible. I have started two successful businesses and I am actually allowing myself to follow what my heart and soul want to do.”
“I’ve become a better leader, feel more confident and powerful, redefined my identity in true masculinity (rather than performative masculinity), healed my relationships with other men, and learned to identify and train leaders around me.”
“I’ve never been so vulnerable with any group of men in my life. I no longer play small, and I’ve found the strength to express my truth.”
